1 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />NOVEMBER 17, 2008 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />New Business <br />' SUBJECT: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Commerce Department - Consent Agreement Extension for the <br />Hawthorne Subdivision <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The applicant is Meridian Development, LLC, 166 Fern Haven Lane, <br />Mooresville, NC 28117. The project consists of 104 single-family homes <br />on +/- 82.03 acres located on Peach Orchard Road. The project was <br />approved by the Harrisburg Planning and Zoning Board on November 21, <br />2006 and a consent agreement was approved by the Board of <br />Commissioners. A Consent Agreement extension is required and <br />extension of approval by Harrisburg is required for the project to proceed. <br />Based on the date of approval, fee is generated from the pre-August <br />2008 ordinance. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to approve the Consent Agreement between Cabarrus County <br />and Meridian Development, LLC for the Hawthorne Subdivision <br />subdivision, including the payment of $6,000 per lot to advance school <br />adequacy with payment due at final platting, contingent upon approval by <br />the Town of Harrisburg.
