' Basically the first 3 options aze actual proposals we got, the 4~' option is a combination of different quotes that may yield
the most aesthetic and fiscally responsible approach.
' 1) Engineered Block Wall (like what borders the retention pond currently, see page 3 for picture): Cost: $60,000 (this
includes tree removal, and parking spaces although the wall won't match the existing wall on Corban). Units shall
be eight inches by eighteen inches by twelve inches (8"x18"x12") grey block and caps.
' 2) Phase I (Entire Island Area) area and Phase II (faces back of SD Admin) and Phase III (facing future jail housing) with
retaining wall that has the raised "pillazs" in them. This will involve tree removal (estimated at $10,000). This will also
' include cutting out earth and curbing on the island and adding 4-5 pazking spaces ($10,000): $235,000
3) Phase I (Entire Island Area) but on Phase I and Phase II we simply cut the earth to 3:1 slope and DO NOT put in a
' retaining wall there: $170,000 (this would include island, tree removal, and extra pazking spaces)
4) Combination of #1 and #3 (includes tree removal, extra parking spaces (5-6), decorative retaining wall with "pillazs"
' around Phase I (island) and then Phase II and Phase III is all engineered block wall: $150,000
Option 4 is the option I recommend.

i

L

Item# 22
Attachment number 1
G-6 380 of 408
