Resolution No. 2007- <br />Resolution <br />WHEREAS, In 1999 Cabarrus County entered into a contract with the City of <br />Kannapolis to provide fire protection services to the remaining Wincoff Fire District <br />located West of Trinity Church Road and area two located East of Concord Lake Road <br />and West of Interstate I- 85 that was not annexed into the City of Kannapolis, and; <br />WHEREAS, the Office of the State Fire Marshal is requesting that only an <br />updated GIS map of this remaining area be submitted to the Office of the State Fire <br />Marshal and that the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners designate this <br />remaining area as the "Kannapolis Rural Fire Protection District"; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners does hereby designate that the remaining area of the Wincoff Fire <br />District as shown on the attached GIS map, located at Trinity Church and Highgrove <br />Place; Maid Marian Lane; and at Elsinor Lane to King Arthur Court, and area two <br />located at the South Bound Rest area of Interstate I-85, be named the "Kannapolis <br />Rural Fire Protection District", and said map to be filed with the Office of the State Fire <br />Marshal. <br />Adopted this 19~h day of February 2007 <br />Robert W.
