CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br />Meeting Date 2/19/07 <br />Agenda Item # ~- aU <br />SUBJECT: <br />Additional Sheriffs Deputy to Work in the Town of Harrisburg <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />At this time, the Town of Harrisburg is reimbursing the Sheriffs Office for salary and <br />benefits for six officers that are assigned to work in the Town of Harrisburg. Harrisburg has <br />requested the Sheriffs Office add one more deputy and as with past agreements, <br />Harrisburg will reimburse the Sheriffs Office for salary and benefits related to the new <br />deputy. Any additional equipment needed by the deputy, including patrol vehicle, will be <br />provided by the Town of Harrisburg.
