CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br />Meeting Date 3/26/07 Agenda Item # ~- - a o <br />SUBJECT: <br />Change Order No. 2 -North Cabarrus Park Phase III & Budget Amendment <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The contractor has experienced poor soil conditions in the proposed parking lot area of the <br />North Cabarrus Park Phase III project. The contractor recommends undercutting, removal <br />of poor soil and adding extra stone/geogrid material to stablize the parking lot's sub-base. <br />The total cost of this change order is $49,178.
