L. Brown High
School Wing Addition, the renovation of the A. L. Brown High School Vocational
Building, and the purchase of the property we currently have an option on. We are over
capacity at the High School and only expect for it to get worse next year. The
Vocational Building is in desperate need for renovations in order for the faculty to
provide classes to our students. In order to have contracts ready by November 2007,
architects will need to be hired soon to plan the projects at A. L. Brown. We are asking
for a total of $675,000 for architect fees for both projects.
Thank you for your continued support of Kannapolis City Schools.
~' - 5
