CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br />Meeting Date Agenda Item # F - <br />SUBJECT: <br />Sheriffs Office - Adopt a Resolution to Use Existing Data Storage Methods to Record Gun <br />Permits <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />In accordance with NCGS 14-405, "The Sheriff shall keep a book, to be provided by the <br />BOC of each county, in which he shall keep a record of all licenses or permits issued under <br />this article." Currently, gun permits are recorded by hand into a bound book and entered <br />into a electronic data base.
