CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br />Meeting Date 3/26/07 Agenda Item # ~- g <br />SUBJECT: <br />Finance Department -Budget Amendment (Decrease the Justice Center Construction <br />Fund) <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />On February 22, 2007, Certificates of Participation (COPS) were issued for the <br />construction of the SherifFs Office. The amount of the proceeds from the COPS and the <br />legal expenses associated with the financing were $486,218 less than the original <br />budgeted amount.
