CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br />Meeting Date 3/26/07 Agenda Item # ~- ~ 0 <br />SUBJECT: <br />Approval of Scrap Tire Disposal Contract with US Tire Recycling <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Cabarrus County desires to recycle scrap tires when possible and it has been determined <br />that this service will be best provided by US Tire Recycling, a qualified firm. It is further <br />estimated that the annual recycling cost may be up to $115,000 which has been included <br />in the budget.
