Head: Pam Dubois <br />Purpose: <br />Budget Revision/Amendment Request <br />Amount: $24,002.00 <br />Department Of: Deputy County Manager <br />This budget amendment is to appropriate Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) funds in the amount of <br />$24,002. These funds will be received from the US Department of Justice Edward Byrne Memorial Grant <br />Program. The Sheriffs Office will be able to purchase a bullet recovery system for the firing range. The <br />system will eliminate the need for officers to transport seized guns back and forth from the National <br />Integrated Ballistics Indentification Network in Hickory.
