CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br />Meeting Date 3/26/07 Agenda Item # ~ ,L <br />SUBJECT: <br />Resolution Authorizing the County Manager to Execute Memorandums of Agreement and <br />Grant Applications <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Cabarrus County applies for numerous grants from various State and Federal sources on a <br />regular basis that have strick use guidelines and are often funded at 100 percent. These <br />grant applications are also often accompanied by Memorandums of Agreement and must <br />be executed in a timely manner. Expenditures cannot be made until a budget amendment <br />is approved by the Board.
