CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br />Meeting Date 4/16/07 Agenda Item # <br />~- <br />SUBJECT: <br />Request to Establish a Special Revenue Fund for Soil & Water Special Projects & <br />Adoption of Related Budget Amendment <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The Soil & Water Board requests the establishment of a special revenue fund to segregate <br />funds used for Environmental Education Programs and to place the following contributions <br />into the fund: $15,200 received from the State for identifying wetland sites; a $1000 <br />contribution from the Concord Civic Garden Council to establish a native mini-prarie <br />wildflower meadow project; rental proceeds from a seed drill received through grant funds; <br />and any future donations for these programs.
