CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br />Meeting Date 4/16/07 Agenda Item # G - 3 <br />SUBJECT: <br />Request from Cabarrus County Schools for Funding for Engineering Design Services for <br />New High School <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Cabarrus County Schools requests $125,000 in funding for engineering fees to continue <br />the fast track of the new high school in the northwest area of the County. This is the <br />balance of the funding needed for this project through June 30, 2007. Additional costs will <br />be incurred prior to the issuance of COPS, but the County will be reimbursed for those <br />costs when the debt is issued.
