CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br />Meeting Date 4/16/07 Agenda Item # lT - ~ <br />SUBJECT: <br />Convention and Visitor's Bureau -Budget Amendment - $55,519.00 <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The following budget amendment transfers funds from the CVB's fund balance to increase <br />budgeted line items for the following: a Marketing Manager, correction of January BA #278 <br />for a Convention Services Manager, to adjust current CVB salaries in accordance with <br />industry standards per DMAI, and to sponsor the Great Race. The CVB Board approved <br />these transfers in December 2006 and January 2007.
