Planning Process
The development of the FY 2007-09 involved collaboration between the principal
partners involved in the plan, namely the Employment Services area, the Work First
Eligibility area, the Crisis Assistance area, and the Child Welfare Services area. Due
to the economy.and job market, there has been and will be ongoing meetings with
these areas to ensure that the work accomplished will be both effective and as
efficient as possible. The Work First Planning Committee met on September 13,
2006 and September 28, 2006 and did offer input into the department's plan. Areas of
concern by the committee included:
1. Child care: lack of child care for 2"d and 3`d shift and high parent fees.
F- ~
