Only personnel that have been <br />certified to use the equipment will have access to same. If an officer brings in suspected <br />drugs, the certified officer will weigh and submit the suspected drug through this forensic <br />drug testing device. The test will prevent the officer from the need of sending the drugs <br />off to the state lab which has been inundated in the past with the shear number of request <br />for services. The device would instantly provide an analyst of the suspected substance. <br />2007 JAG Grant Review Narrative <br />1.
