Cabarrus County Law Enforcement Center Contract Amendment #13 Exhibit A Scope of Work: Schematic Design of Jail Housing Building(s) based on the Design and Program Parameters listed below. Additional work shall include the following: ^ Meetings: o Up to six (6) meetings with the Sheriff's Office and County officials to review the development of the design. o Up to three (3) meetings with the City of Concord to review the development of the design. o Up to two (2) meetings with the Board of County Commissioners. o Up to two (2) meetings with local neighborhood representatives. o Up to five (5) meetings with City of Concord officials. Drawings: o Architectural Site Plan showing building footprints, drives, parking, service areas, grading and drainage. o Architectural Floor Plans showing each level of the proposed building(s) and their relationship to the Administration Building and Annex Building. o Architectural Building Elevations depicting proposed colors and materials. o Architectural Building Sections showing the relationship to the Administration Building and site topography. Design Narratives: o Civil -describing demolition, earthwork, utilities, paving, drainage, landscape and irrigation. o Structural -describing foundation systems, structural framing systems. o Plumbing -describing proposed equipment, piping systems and fixtures. o Mechanical -describing proposed HVAC equipment and systems. o Electrical -describing proposed power and emergency power equipment, electrical and electronic systems and fixtures. o Security -describing proposed security electronic equipment and systems. o Architectural -describing proposed materials for exterior and interior construction. Models o Scaled site model of the final schematic design showing building massing and topography of the proposed design. 0 3D color computer model of the final schematic design showing the proposed exterior design of the building. Schematic Estimate o Provide a detailed Schematic Estimate based on the final schematic design drawings and narratives. Design and Program Parameters: Limit the height of the proposed housing building(s) to 48 feet (4 levels of cells) above finished grade.
