CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br />Meeting Date 8/20/07 <br />Agenda Item # ~T " <br />SUBJECT: <br />Updated Draft Language for Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance (APFO) based on <br />Stakeholder Committee Meeting Input -Public Hearing - 6:30 p.m. <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Attached are two proposed versions of the draft APFO text. The changes recommended <br />by the Stakeholder Committee have been incorporated into the draft text. Version 1 text <br />establishes a way for developers to reserve capacity for up to one year and then enter into <br />a Consent Agreement with the BOC when the project is approved by the appropriate <br />jurisdiction.
