CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br />Meeting Date 9/17/07 Agenda Item # ~ ~ <br />SUBJECT: <br />Approval of Memorandum of Understanding with North Carolina Cooperative Extension <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />There is a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the North Carolina Cooperative <br />Extension and county governments. It is designed to provide clarification of salary and <br />benefit distribution, and the procedure for using a Trust Fund Account at North Carolina <br />State University as a payroll program that places certain positions who are jointly employed <br />with North Carolina Cooperative Extension under one payroll system.
