CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br />Meeting Date 10/15/07 <br />Agenda Item # <br />SUBJECT: <br />Report by the County Attorney on Possible Actions with Regard to Commissioner Privette <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />At its September work session, the Board asked the County Attorney to prepare a report <br />on the following: (1) removal of Commissioner Privette from all boards and committees <br />that he was appointed to by the BOC; (2) removal of Privette from all appointments where <br />he serves as a liaison; (3) restrict and prohibit Privette from officially representing the <br />Board at any out-of-county conferences, seminars, etc.; and (4) to provide an outline of <br />what can be done to censure Commissioner Privette. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: (Suggested motion if the Board approves the agenda item as presented) <br />Receive report from the County Attorney. <br />Attachments ^ Yes ^X No Expected Length of Presentation 15 Minutes <br />Submitted By: Richard M.
