Including previously approved subdivisions, these schools will be functioning at the following <br />capacity upon completion of The Mills at Rocky River Subdivision project: <br />Rocky River Elementary School - 201.53% <br />C.C. Griffin Middle School - 198.02% <br />Hickory Ridge High School - 115.94% <br />The Cabarrus County Schools Project List in the 15-Year Facility Plan includes a new elementary <br />school in 2008 on this site. This school would relieve Rocky River, A. T. Allen, as well as Harrisburg <br />Elementary, if needed. Land, architectural and engineering work is to be funded in February 2008. <br />Also, a middle school is included in the plan for 2008 south of NC Highway 49 to relieve C. C. <br />Griffm. Land has been purchased fox the new middle school. Architectural and Engineering work is <br />to be funded in February 2008. Another elementary school south of Harrisburg will be needed in <br />2009 based on growth projections. <br />Cabarrus County Schools operating at 110% capacity are considered to be operating at the maximum <br />capacity. <br />The Subdivision Lot Inventory has been updated through October of 2007. <br />2 <br />G-9 <br />
