CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br />Meeting Date 11/19/07 Agenda Item #~ <br />SUBJECT: <br />Appointments -Transportation Advisory Board <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />NC Department of Public Transportation requires recipients of Community Transportation <br />Program 5311 grant funds for capital and administrative operations participate in the <br />development and continuation of a Transportation Advisory Board (TAB) composed of <br />representatives from agencies that are serviced. Susan Caudle (Coltrane Life Center) and <br />Sharon Corpening (Social Worker for NC Division of Services for the Blind) are <br />recommended for reappointment. Anew position on the TAB is requested for the City of <br />Kannapolis.
