Cultural & Social programs <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />In the area of social/cultural involvement there will be many changes from the <br />lives ofthe previous generation of older adults: <br /> <br />-45% of older adults volunteer annually, donating 1.8 billion hours of their <br />time at an estimated cost of 22.7 billion dollars. How can our communities <br />support this most valuable resource? <br /> <br />-According to the NC Division of Aging and Adult Services report on Baby <br />Boomers, about 37% of the Boomers have a high school education and 27% <br />have some college.
