He thinks it is something that a lot of people are watching how we do this because it really will help us to determine the way the rest of this county grows, especially areas like Mt. Pleasant and all as we get twenty years down the road for there. He said we do not want the Mt. Pleasant area to grow up and be nothing but developments out there. He said we will probably want to keep a town atmosphere in that area just like it is and he thinks this will help us figure out how to get to that. The Chair said if do not put this plan into the process and start doing little work to determine how you implement it and ordinances and getting more public input and all as you do that than we will be sitting here doing nothing. He said there is no money allocated to doing more studies and he thinks it is time to get the real process started. The Chair asked for a MOTION. Mr. Berg MOTIONED and was SECOND by Mr. Lancaster to recommend the plan for approval by the Board of County Commissioners. MOTION carried, unanimous. Mr. Lentz said that is it with the items and we will have something drawn up for you on the variably set back. He asked ifthey want to come back next month for that or do they want to wait until January. The Chair said January and asked who will draw it up you are not going to be here. Mr. Lentz said there are other people beside myself. Mr. Lentz said he appreciate working with you all and wish you the best ofluck. He said he indicated to Jonathan that if something came up that he needed some historic information on or rezoning or something he would be available to do that. Mr. Lentz said it is not like he will disappear and all that information will be gone. He said thanks and again and best ofluck to you all. Meeting adjourned at 9: 17 p.m. [;-~
