<br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Agenda Item # _F ~ 1 <br /> <br />Meeting Date 2/20/00 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />New Position - GIS Analyst for Address Coordinator funded by 911 Landline fund. <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> <br />Correct addresses are essential in order to provide E-911 emergency services and a <br />requirement by the Cabarrus County Code of Ordinances, New subdivision addresses <br />are currently assigned within 10 business days of receipt of a final plat by the planning <br />department. Citizens need timely address assignments to apply for permits and establish <br />services.
