<br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Meeting Date 3/20/06 <br /> <br />Agenda Item # <br /> <br />~-lJ <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Bulletproof Vest Partnership Grant Budget Amendment <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> <br />This budget amendment is needed because a portion of the funds approved in November <br />2005 for the Bulletproof Vest Partnership grant will not be needed for the rest of the fiscal <br />year. The Sheriff's Office has five years to expend this grant. The Sheriffs Office is <br />requesting the unused match of $14,328.11 be returned to the original uniform line item to <br />be used for the remainder of the year. This match will be reappropriated in the new fiscal <br />year when needed.
