<br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Meeting Date 3/20/06 <br /> <br />Agenda Item # F- 8 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Audit Contract for Cabarrus County for the Fiscal Years ending 6-30-06,6-30-07, and <br />6-30-08. <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> <br />Attached is the Bid tabulation from the 2-27-06 bid opening for Auditing Services. Four <br />companies responded with prices ranging from $29,500 to $75,000 for the FY 06 audit <br />services. The lowest responsible bidder was Potter & Company with a three year pricing <br />commitment of $29,500 for FY 06, $31,000 for FY 07 and $32,500 for FY 08. Potter & <br />Company specializes in Governmental auditing and services.
