<br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Meeting Date 3/20/06 <br /> <br />Agenda Item # C. - I <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Proclamation Honoring Alyssa Holden as One of the State's Top Two Youth Volunteers for <br />for 2006 by The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards Program <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> <br />Alyssa Holden, a fifth grade student at Cox Mill Elementary, was recently named as one of <br />North Carolina's top two youth volunteers by The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards, a <br />nationwide program honoring youth for outstanding acts of volunteerism. As a State <br />Honoree, Alyssa will participate in national recognition events in Washington, D.
