<br />March 7, 2006 <br /> <br />To: Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />From: Pamela S. Dubois <br /> <br />Subject: Solid Waste Department Maintenance Garage <br /> <br />On October 1 t\ the Board awarded a construction contract to R.J. Fisher contruction in <br />the amount of$275,330 for the construction of the facility. The Architect fees totaled <br />$16,600. This totaled $291,990 for the project with a budget of $300,000. Several events <br />have occurred which have caused an increase in cost associated with this project. An <br />additional $20,100 is requested to complete this project. Those new costs are attributed to <br />a new building pad requirement due to weather issues totaling $10,000. The addition of <br />well/septic at $8,000, electric and sewer line extension at $5,000 and a 2" conduct voice <br />data line at $3,770. Since construction was delayed, an increase in concrete cost totaling <br />$1,400 was agreed to bring the total cost to $320,100. <br /> <br />r-:- /'f <br />
