Page Director March 30, 2006 Mike Downs Deputy County Manager 65 Church Street Concord, NC 28025 Dear Mike, Attached please find a budget amendment request for $114,028.03 for renovations to the space located adjacent to the Cabarrus County Human Service Center. Rent Way formerly occupied this space \\(hich the Board of Commissioners approved leasing on March 20, 2006. This space (2800 sq. ft.) is planned for use by Social Services as additional office space. In order to meet the needs of Social Services, some renovations are needed prior to occupancy. Renovations needed include but are not limited to carpeting, painting, data, telephone service, workstations and power for workstations. Most of the work will be performed by our General Services Dept. with the exception of the installation of the carpet, tile, painting and the cubicles.
