<br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Meeting Date 5/15/06 <br /> <br />Agenda Item # J - \ <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Purchase of Orion Software Package for Geographically Mapping Response Calls <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> <br />The County has been unable to geographically link and map many datasets pertinent to <br />public safety within Cabarrus County due to lack of software connecting the various <br />databases. Without mapping capability, analysis of public safety response calls and <br />response zones cannot be completed. This software will also be used to develop new web <br />applications.
