<br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />From: <br /> <br />Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br />Kassie Goodson Watts/Planner <br />Consent Agreements and School Capacity Figures for the Bluffs at Mill Bridge <br />06/12/2006 <br /> <br />To: <br /> <br />Subject: <br />Date: <br /> <br />The Bluffs at Mill Bridge Subdivision was approved by the Cabarrus County Planning and Zoning <br />Board on May 18"', 2006. This subdivision is approved for 20 single family lots on 52.11+/- acres <br />located on NC Hwy 601. The specifics of the agreement are as follows: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Developer - Hartsell Brothers, 10420 Hwy 601 S., Midland, NC 28107 <br />Payment of $4034 per lot will be due at Final Platting <br />Build out schedule would be 10 lots platted in 2006, and 10 lots platted in 2007 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The APFO worksheet filled out by Mr. Robert Kluttz with Cabarrus County Schools indicates that <br />schools affected by The Bluffs at Mill Bridge Subdivision are currently functioning at the following <br />capacities: <br /> <br />Bethel Elementary School- 64.84% <br />c.c. Griffm Middle School- 111.36% <br />Central Cabarrus High School- 122.65% <br /> <br />Including previously approved subdivisions, these schools will be functioning at the following <br />capacity upon completion of The Bluffs at Mill Bridge Subdivision project: <br /> <br />Bethel Elementary School - 87.53% <br />c.c. Griffin Middle School-161.54% <br />Central Cabarrus High School- 186.12% <br /> <br />The Hickory Ridge High School, projected to open in 2007, will provide relief at Central Cabarrus <br />High School. Funding for this school was approved in the 2004 School Bond. <br /> <br />The 15 year plan identifies two elementary schools that would relieve the Bethel Elementary School <br />and a new middle school that would relieve c.c. Griffin Middle School. Funding for these schools <br />has not been identified. <br /> <br />Cabarrus County Schools operating at 110% capacity are considered to be operating at the maximum <br />capacity. <br /> <br />The subdivision lot inventory spreadsheet has been updated through of June 2006. <br /> <br />Cb- ~l 0 <br />
