MEMORANDUM From: Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners Kassie Goodson Watts/Planner Consent Agreements and School Capacity Figures for the Bluffs at Mill Bridge 06/12/2006 To: Subject: Date: The Bluffs at Mill Bridge Subdivision was approved by the Cabarrus County Planning and Zoning Board on May 18"', 2006. This subdivision is approved for 20 single family lots on 52.11+/- acres located on NC Hwy 601. The specifics of the agreement are as follows: . Developer - Hartsell Brothers, 10420 Hwy 601 S., Midland, NC 28107 Payment of $4034 per lot will be due at Final Platting Build out schedule would be 10 lots platted in 2006, and 10 lots platted in 2007 . . The APFO worksheet filled out by Mr. Robert Kluttz with Cabarrus County Schools indicates that schools affected by The Bluffs at Mill Bridge Subdivision are currently functioning at the following capacities: Bethel Elementary School- 64.84% c.c. Griffm Middle School- 111.36% Central Cabarrus High School- 122.65% Including previously approved subdivisions, these schools will be functioning at the following capacity upon completion of The Bluffs at Mill Bridge Subdivision project: Bethel Elementary School - 87.53% c.c. Griffin Middle School-161.54% Central Cabarrus High School- 186.12% The Hickory Ridge High School, projected to open in 2007, will provide relief at Central Cabarrus High School. Funding for this school was approved in the 2004 School Bond. The 15 year plan identifies two elementary schools that would relieve the Bethel Elementary School and a new middle school that would relieve c.c. Griffin Middle School. Funding for these schools has not been identified. Cabarrus County Schools operating at 110% capacity are considered to be operating at the maximum capacity.
