<br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />From: <br /> <br />Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br />Kassie Goodson Watts/Planner <br />Consent Agreement and School Capacity Figures for Bridge Pointe Phase 6 Subdivision <br />06/29/2006 <br /> <br />To: <br /> <br />Subject: <br />Date: <br /> <br />The Bridge Pointe Phase 6 Subdivision was approved by the Harrisburg Planning and Zoning Board <br />on May 16'h, 2006. This subdivision is approved for 45 single family homes on 33+/- acres located <br />on Robinson Church Rd. The specifics of the agreement are as follows: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Developer - Orleans Homebuilders, 1930 B Central Park Drive, Charlotte, NC 28217 <br />Payment of $4034 per lot will be due at Final Platting <br />Build out schedule would be 15 lots platted in 2006, and 30 lots platted in 2007 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The APFO worksheet filled out by Mr. Robert Kluttz with Cabarrus County Schools indicates that <br />schools affected by the Bridge Pointe Phase 6 are currently functioning at the following capacities: <br /> <br />Harrisburg Elementary School- 81.88% <br />c.c. Griffin Middle School- 111.63% <br />Central Cabarrus High School-124.31% <br /> <br />Including previously approved subdivisions, these schools will be functioning at the following <br />capacity upon completion of the Bridge Pointe Phase 6 Subdivision project: <br /> <br />Harrisburg Elementary School- 122.87% <br />c.c. Griffin Middle School- 162.08% <br />Central Cabarrus High School- 188.08% <br /> <br />The Hickory Ridge High School, projected to open in August 2007, will provide relief at Central <br />Cabarrus High School. Funding for this school was approved in the 2004 School Bond. <br /> <br />The 15 Year Facility Plan includes a new elementary school in 2008 southeast of Rocky River <br />Elementary School and another one in 2009 south of Harrisburg. These schools would provide relief <br />for Harrisburg Elementary School. Funding for these two elementary schools has not been identified. <br />A new middle school is included in the plan for 2008 south of NC Hwy 49 that would relieve c.c. <br />Griffin. Funding for this middle school has not been identified. <br /> <br />Cabarrus County Schools operating at 110% capacity are considered to be operating at the maximum <br />capacity. <br /> <br />The Subdivision Lot Inventory spreadsheet has been updated through June 2006. <br /> <br />0--1 <br />
