<br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />From: <br /> <br />Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br />Kassie Goodson Watts/Planner <br />Consent Agreement and School Capacity Figures for the Roberta Meadows Subdivision <br />06/29/2006 <br /> <br />To: <br /> <br />Subject: <br />Date: <br /> <br />The Roberta Meadows subdivision was approved by the Concord Planning and Zoning Board on <br />June 20th, 2006. The project consists on 33 single family lots on 13.70+/- acres located on Roberta <br />Road. The specifics of the agreement are as follows: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Developer - Pitts School, LLC, 4608 Carriker Road, Monroe, NC 28110 <br />Payment of $4034 per lot will be due at Final Platting <br />Build out schedule would be 16 lots platted in 2006, and 17 lots platted in 2007 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The APFO worksheet filled out by Mr. Robert Kluttz with Cabarrus County Schools indicates that <br />schools affected by the Roberta Meadows Subdivision are currently functioning at the following <br />capacities: <br /> <br />Pitts School Road Elementary School- 72.92% <br />J.N. Fries Middle School- 99.43% <br />Jay M. Robinson High School- 105.55% <br /> <br />Including previously approved subdivisions, these schools will be functioning at the following <br />capacity upon completion of the Roberta Meadows Subdivision project: <br /> <br />Pitts School Road Elementary School - 98.19% <br />J.N. Fries Middle School- 115.86% <br />Jay M. Robinson High School- 125.04% <br /> <br />The Hickory Ridge High School, projected to open in August 2007, will provide relief for Jay M. <br />Robinson High School. Funding for this school was approved in the 2004 School Bond. <br /> <br />The 15 Year Facility Plan identifies a middle school renovation at J.N. Fries Middle School that <br />would provide relief. Funding for this renovation has not been identified. <br /> <br />Cabarrus County Schools operating at 110% capacity are considered to be operating at the maximum <br />capacity. <br /> <br />The subdivision inventory has been updated through June 2006. <br /> <br />G--4 <br />
