The retaining wall located on the west side of the housing building must be
extended approximately 100 feet to accommodate an emergency access road to be
constructed to the rear corner of that building.
2. The installation of a 16 inch waterline on Corban Avenue extending from Market
Street to McEachern Blvd. This will assure that the volume and pressure of water
needed to support our project will be available when needed. The City of
Concord will design a portion of this line and will participate in the cost of
installation.

The retaining wall and waterline design are outside the scope of the current Ware-Bonsai
contract. Therefore the attached contract amendment (#9) of $28,200.00 is necessary to
give Ware-Bonsai permission to proceed with the design phase of these two projects.

__., h
( I,~
',',: . l

~

"'~="1lA

*

Cabarrus County. 65 Church Street, SE .
