<br />Contract Amount <br />The County will pay the Contractor an amount not to exceed 5670.700 subject <br />to the terms and conQitions in the Contract Documents. The rates charged shall <br />be the rates allowable under County ordinances. This is a requirements contract. <br /> <br />Payment <br />Payment will be made by the County to the Contractor within thirty days after <br />receipt of invoices fot all work provided that are <br />allocable to the Contract and that have been performed to the satisfaction of the <br />County. <br /> <br />Reim]:lUrsable Expen~es <br />No reimbursable expenses will be incurred without the prior written approval of <br />the County and the issuance of a purchase order detailing the specific expenses <br />expected to be incurred by the Contractor and their estimated amount. <br /> <br />GENE}!AL TERMS i'\l'ITD CONDITIONS: <br /> <br />Applicable Law: The contract shall be governed in all respects by the laws of <br />North Carolina, any litigation with respect thereto shall be brought in the courts <br />of Cabarrus County, North Carolina. The Contractor shall comply with <br />applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulations. <br /> <br />Assi~ent: The Contractor shall not assign, transfer, convey, sublet, or <br />otherwise dispose ofany award or any or all of its rights. title, or interest therein, <br />without the prior written consent of the County. <br /> <br />Chanie in Scope of \fork: The County may order changes in the scope of <br />work consisting of a4ditions, deletions, or other revisions within the general <br />scope of the contract; No claims may be made by the Contractor that the scope of <br />the project or the Contractor's services has been changed, requiring changes to <br />the amount of com~nsation to the Contractor or other adjustments to the <br />contract, unless such changes or adjustments have been made by written <br />amendment to the c~ntract signed by the County and the Contractor. <br /> <br />If the Contractor believes that any particular work is not within the scope of the <br />project, is a material Change, or will otherwise require more compensation to the <br />Contractor, the Contractor must immediately notify the County in writing of this <br />belief.
