<br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Meeting Date 9/25/06 <br /> <br />Agenda Item # r:.- ~ <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />$98 Million School Bond Construction Fund <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> <br />A request has been made by the Cabarrus County Schools to adjust several line items for <br />the following school projects involving Architects, Engineering, Construction and Land: <br />Charles E. Boger Elementary, Cart A. Furr Elementary, and Concord High School Media <br />Wing. Previous budget estimates have proven to be insufficient. The Finance Director for <br />the Cabarrus County Schools has requested that some of the contingency budget be used <br />to make the needed adjustments.
