This would cover payments for inmate related inpatient <br />treatments outside of Jail and over the limits of liability for Southern.) <br /> <br />. This would cover payments for inmate related inpatient <br />treatments outside of Jail and over the limits of liability for Southern.) <br /> <br />Total <br /> <br />$410,688.00 <br /> <br />$ 68,870.00 (average of $34,435 for <br />July / August 2006) <br /> <br />Balance: $ 341,818.00 (If avg. continues: will need <br />$344,350.00) <br /> <br />Southern Health Partners <br /> <br />Our Current health contract provides Nursing (RN) care at the jail from 8:00 am until 9:00 pm <br />each week day and from 8:00 am until 12:00 noon on Saturday and Sunday. The Doctor comes <br />in the jail two days per week for 2 hours or as needed to perform duties. <br /> <br />Relief staffing is also trained and oriented by Southern at their cost prior to being assigned to <br />solo duty at the jail. <br /> <br />One of the RN's is a Psychiatric Registered Nurse that is able to evaluate and deal with the <br />mental health issues of inmates. <br /> <br />Southern pays for all prescriptions, medications, medical supplies, outside medical treatments, <br />blood work, x-rays, etc. associated with medical evaluation and treatment of the inmates. These <br />costs are entirely the responsibility of the Southern within the limits set in the RFP. These limits <br />are as follows: <br />Contract year cost of inpatient treatment of inmates outside the jail shall be capped at $70,000 <br />for all inmates in the aggregate. <br /> <br />F- Iz. <br />
