~~
~

NORTH CAROLINA

Staff Report to the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners
Petition C2005-04(Street Naming)
Monday, February 21st, 2005

Request for an unnamed easement located off of the 4700 block of Irish Potato Rd.
Various petitioners have requested that this easement be officially named Talbert Farm
Road, and that the portion that splits off to the West be officially named Talbert Farm
Place.

The easement has been calculated at approximately 1542 Feet. (This number was
calculated by using the measurement tool in the ArcMap Geographic Information
System.) The petition has been signed by the following property owners; their street
frontage is listed as well.

. Although the 51 % requirement has not been met in this
case, the Planning Staff feels that the road should be named for E-9ll purposes, as well
as the fact that there are multiple residences accessing off of this easement. This petition
was brought to the Commerce Department by Emergency Management Services. They
felt that the easement needed to be named and went forward with getting the petition
started for this easement to be officially named.

&--6
