<br />~~ <br />Cabarrus~ <br />11le Center of ~~NA <br /> <br />Staff Report to the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br />Petition C2005-03 (Street Naming) <br />Monday, February 21 It, 2005 <br /> <br />Request for an unnamed easement located off of the 5350 block of Rimer Rd. Various <br />petitioners have requested that this easement be officially named Boxcar Lane. <br /> <br />The easement has been calculated at approximately 2412 Ft. (This number was calculated <br />by using the measurement tool in the ArcMap Geographic Information System.) The <br />petition has been signed by the following property owners; their street frontage is listed <br />as well. <br /> <br />Steven Shearer <br />Brian Seagraves <br />Scotty Ray Seagraves <br />Tom & Monica Roz <br />Nancy Safrit <br />TOTAL <br /> <br />35' <br />1690' <br />275' <br />430' <br />2395' <br />4825' <br /> <br />Percentage of Property Owners who Signed the Petition <br /> <br />100% <br /> <br /> <br />The Cabarrus County Road Naming policy regarding the official naming of unnamed <br />easements requires that only 51 % of the property owners with "street" frontage sign the <br />petition. In this case the petitioners were able to get the signatures of 100% of the <br />property owners on this easement. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: Staffrecommends that Petition C2005-03 (StreetNaming) be <br />Approved. <br /> <br />G-+ <br />
