<br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Agenda Item # ~ <br /> <br />Meeting Date 4/18/05 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Communications Tower Construction funded by a $500,000 Federal Grant and up to <br />$1,500,000 Capital Reserve Fund Contribution <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> <br />Three budget amendments for the contraction of a Communications Tower are attached <br />for your approval. The first amendment is an Administrative Amendment to remove the <br />Federal Grant from the General Fund and transfer it to the Capital Projects Fund. The <br />second amendment is to make the first contribution from the Capital Reserve Fund to the <br />Capital Projects Fund for the purchase of Land and Construction of the Tower.
