<br />Resolution No. 2005-_ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE INCURRENCE BY <br />ENOCHVILLE FIRE & RESCUE DEPARTMENT, INC., OF UP TO <br />$360,000.00 INDEBTEDNESS FROM MUNICIPAL SERVICES GROUP, INC. <br />TO FINANCE THE ACQUISITION OF ONE FIRE TRUCK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Enochville Fire & Rescue Department, Inc., pursuant to notice duly <br />given (the "Notice"), has held a public hearing on the proposed loan and considered the <br />comments of persons who requested to be heard as evidence by the minutes of the public hearing <br />executed by the Secretary of Enochville Fire & Rescue Department, Inc.; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, neither the County nor any agency thereof shall be liable in any event for <br />the repayment of the loan, the loan does not constitute an indebtedness of the County or any <br />agency thereof and does not constitute or create in any manner a debt of liability of the County or <br />any agency thereof; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to approve the loan. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />the County of Cabarrus as follows: <br /> <br />1. The publication of the notice and the designation of said meeting as a public hearing <br />on the loan is hereby ratified and approved. <br /> <br />2. The incurrence by the Enochville Fire & Rescue Department, Inc., of indebtedness of <br />up to $360,000.00 to Municipal Services Group, Inc., to finance the purchase of one <br />fire truck, to be located at Enochville Volunteer Fire Station, 808 N. Enochville <br />Avenue, China Grove, North Carolina 28023, is hereby approved. <br /> <br />3.
