<br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Meeting Date 4/18/05 <br /> <br />Agenda Item # <br /> <br />(;-1 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Rural Operating Assistance Program (ROAP) Application - Public Hearing - 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> <br />Cabarrus County will be applying for transportation funding through the NC DOT Public <br />Transportation Division for funding provided by the Rural Operations Assistance Program <br />(ROAP). The amounts applied for are $71,691 in Elderly and Disabled Transportation <br />Assistance Program (EDTAP) funding; $7,135.00 in Work Firstfunding; and $50,189.00 in <br />Rural General Purpose (RGP) funding.
