<br />RGP-l Describe the geographic area in which the rural general public transportation services will be provided. <br />RGP funds will be used to transport clients from rural area outside of Concord and Kannapolis into the <br />urban areas. <br />RGP-2 How were the projected units of service with RGP funds determined? Can RGP funded services be <br />provided throughout the twelve months ofFY2006 (CT System requirement) with the allocated funds? See the Sub- <br />allocation Worksheet in Appendix B. <br />The projected units of service were determined by dividing the average cost per trip into the available RGP <br />funds. <br />Based on the number of trips provided though RGP in FY 2005 there will not be enough funds to provide <br />services throughout FY 2006. <br />RGP-3 What service design(s) will be used to deliver RGP funded transportation services? Does the rural public <br />transportation system in your county provide RGP funded services with any service limitations? If yes, describe <br />these limitations (e.g. days, hours, zones, curb to curb, space available basis only, no out-of-county trips, distance <br />from destination or transit station). <br />We will continne to use a demand response with a prior appointment design to deliver RGP funded services. <br />The limitations on services provided with RGP funding is the trips must be schednled between the hours of <br />6:00 AM and 7:00 PM Monday thru Saturday. <br />Cabarrus Connty Transportation also only provides door to door service. <br />RGP-4 Has the service design for RGP funded services changed in the last twelve months? !fyes, describe the <br />process for altering or changing service designs. <br />There has been no change to RGP funded Services. <br />RGP-5 Describe the plan for marketing the RGP funded services to the target market. How are persons with <br />disabilities included in the marketing plan? <br />Cabarrus County Transportation will continne the marketing plan we are currently using. This consist of <br />pamplets web sites and presentations. Alternative methods are currently avaiIible to persons with <br />disabilities. <br />RGP-6 Will a passenger pay for RGP service? Describe the proposed fare structure? <br />All clients who use RGP services will be charged $3.00 per trip. <br />RGP-7 Describe how the local match requirement for RGP funds will be met. <br />Local match requirement will be met using both revenues generated from client fares and local tax dollars. <br /> . <br />RGP-8 Describe how RGP funded services and expenditures will be monitored throughout the year to assure that <br />program guidelines are being followed. <br />All client trips are entered into our Transportation Database by Dial - a - ride personel and reviewed by <br />management staff. <br />RGP-9 What performance measurements will be used to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of the RGP <br />funded services. What methods will be used to evaluate the delivery of these services? When will the services be <br />evaluated? Sample Measures of Effectiveness for Transit Systems are in Appendix D. <br />Using spreadsheets gererated from data in the Transportation Database management will review weekly the <br />average cost per trip and the average mile per trip.
