The Cabarrus County Planning and Zoning Commission. <br /> <br />Section 12-15. Establishment of Commission. <br /> <br />In order to exercise the powers authorized in General Statute 153A-344 and <br />153A-345, the Cabarrus County Planning and Zoning Commission is hereby <br />established. The Commission shall be comprised of nine (9) members appointed <br />by the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners. Powers of the Commission. <br /> <br />The Cabarrus County Planning and Zoning Commission shall have the <br />following duties: <br /> <br />-When actinlZ as a olanninlZ asrencv, to: <br /> <br />(1) Initiate proposed amendments to this order and make recorrunendations <br />to the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners. <br /> <br />(2) Prepare studies and plans related to controlling and creating orderly. <br />growth and development of the County. <br /> <br /> <br />(3) Develop and recorrunend to the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners plans, goals, and objectives as well as policies, ordinances <br />and administrative procedures or other means for carrying out the studies <br />and plans referenced above. <br /> <br />12.8 <br /> <br />G- B <br />
