<br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Agenda Item # ~ <br /> <br />Meeting Date 5/26/05 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Local Law Enforcement Block Grant Budget Amendment <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />A budget amendment is attached that appropriates additional funds for the FY 2004 Local <br />Law Enforcement Block Grant (2004-LB-BX-1147) from Federal Forfeiture Funds. The <br />total expense for the enhancements to the Training Facility/Firing Range was $18,250. <br />The original grant and 10% match from the County is $6,406. The City of Concord also <br />received LLEBG grant funds in the amount of $6,472.00 which offset the cost of the target <br />system. However, $5,723.00 is now necessary to complete the project.
