Box 707 <br />Concord,NC 28026 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Secondary Road Construction Program for Cabarrus County <br /> <br />Dear Mrs. Bonds: <br /> <br />This letter is to inform the County Commissioners that presently NCDOT will not be <br />submitting a proposed Secondary Road paving program in any Counties for the upcoming <br />fiscal year. Because of outstanding funding commitments statewide, NCDOT is delaying <br />or rescheduling many projects in an effort to replenish cash reserves that have been <br />depleted over the last two years. As of now, I anticipate that it will take several months <br />for the funding situation to be corrected.
