<br />4 <br /> <br />Support for economic incentives is equal and consistently above the <br />60% across all political parties and above a solid majority in all of the <br />state's media markets. <br /> <br />Men under 40 (79% support) are the strongest supporters of economic <br />development incentives, while women over 65 (43% support, 35% <br />oppose) offer the most resistance. <br /> <br />Typical of the broad spectrum of support for incentives, conservative <br />Republicans (63-31) support them at the same level as <br />liberal/moderate Democrats (63-26). <br /> <br />FrederickPolls <br /> <br />G-J\ <br /> <br />August 2005 <br />
