<br />Juba Appointed to NCACC Board <br /> <br />September 2,2005 - Cabarrus Connty Commissioner Joni Juba was appointed to one of five at- <br />large director seats on the board of the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners <br />(NCACC). Juba was appointed during last week's NCACC Conference in Charlotte. <br /> <br />"I am very impressed with Joni's clarity of thought and the new dimension of ideas that she <br />brings to the table," said NCACC Board President Kitty Barnes. "She will be a great contributor <br />as the board looks at services that counties will need in this new 2151 century." <br /> <br />Juba's one-year appointment to the NCACC Board will allow her to represent Cabarrus Connty <br />at several meetings throughout the year to discuss and find solutions for statewide issues <br />affecting connties. <br /> <br />"I consider this appointment an honor and look forward to getting started on the objectives that <br />Kitty Barnes has for our board," Juba said. <br /> <br />C,3 <br />
