<br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Agenda Item # <br /> <br />f-b <br /> <br />Meeting Date 9/19/05 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Lease Agreement with the Cabarrus Arts Council, Inc., for Use of the Historic Courthouse <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> <br />During review of the Arts Council's budget request on June 14, there was discussion <br />regarding the possibility of the Arts Council moving its offices into the Historic Courthouse. <br />This would provide the opportunity for the facility to be used more by the public and also <br />provide for visual arts and possibly performing arts activities in the future.
